Gaza is rapidly running out of food, says WPF: Israel must allow food trucks to rescue the Palestinians in the besieged Strip.
The World Food Program (WFP) warned on Sunday of food shortages in Gaza, which has been witnessing Israeli raids for more than a week that have left thousands dead and wounded and widespread destruction in residential neighborhoods and vital facilities.
“There is not enough food in Gaza,” WFP said, adding that trucks carrying 100 tons of food were currently heading to the Rafah crossing in Egypt. “We urgently need to allow aid to safely enter Gaza,” it said.

WFP said earlier that aid stocks were dwindling, noting that “without access to Gaza, organizations will not be able to replenish the needs of food, drinking water or health care and shelter supplies.”
"For this vicious cycle to break, Palestine must, once more, become an issue that concerns all Arabs. The Israeli narrative must be countered, western bias confronted, and a new, collective strategy formed."

In an earlier post on X, WFP tweeted, “high-energy biscuits are landing in Al-Arish airport near the #Rafah border in #Egypt to address the pressing food shortages in #Gaza.”
“The minute humanitarian access is secured; our teams will deliver this emergency assistance to families.”
It remains unclear however whether Israel will allow the humanitarian aid to Gaza, as the Israeli military has threatened repeatedly to bomb any convoys that try to help the besieged and war-stricken Palestinians.
