The Turkish government on Wednesday submitted a deal to parliament to normalize relations with Israel, ahead of the legislative body entering its summer recess later this month.
Relations between the two countries have improved following an agreement and an announcement by Israel that it would pay $20 million to the families of the victims of the Mavi Marmara attack.
Under the bill, the legal case regarding the Israeli commandos who conducted the attack will also be dropped.

Turkey will also secure the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through Israeli borders, as well as construct a hospital with a capacity of 200 beds.
In 2010, Israeli marine forces killed ten Turkish citizens aboard the Mavi Marmara ship after attacking it in international waters while it was on its way to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
In June, Turkey and Israel announced that they had reached an agreement to restore diplomatic ties.
