Only hours after US President Joe Biden suggested that Palestinians are lying regarding the actual number of civilians killed, the Ministry of Health in Gaza issued a report.
The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza issued a report in response to the statement made by US President Joe Biden that Palestinians are not telling the truth regarding the number of Gaza civilian casualties resulting from the Israeli war.
President Biden says he has "no confidence in the number [of deaths] that the Palestinians are using.” Here's what @OmarSShakir of Human Rights Watch has to say about the numbers used by the Gaza Health Ministry. In short: he's sure they're accurate. https://t.co/lfzfJDNMlD pic.twitter.com/TPWkyzRqTP

In a press conference at the White House on Wednesday, Biden said:
“I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed. I’m sure innocents have been killed and it’s the price of waging a war.”
But on Thursday evening, the Health Ministry in Gaza published a report, which included the full list of names of all Palestinians killed, starting on October 7 to the date of the publication of the report.
Ashraf al-Qidra, a spokesman for the Health Ministry, said in a press conference, “We reject the US administration’s questioning of the figures we announce about the number of martyrs and wounded.”
“We consider this position devoid of all human standards, ethics, and the basic value of human rights that it (Washington) praises.”
