The ten-page document, dated October 13, suggests that Israel establish tent cities in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula to accommodate the population from Gaza.
A leaked policy document compiled by the Israeli Ministry of Intelligence calls for the depopulation of Gaza and the forced displacement of its residents to Egyptian territory, according to a report published by the Sicha Mekomit news site on Saturday.
The ten-page document, dated October 13, suggests that Israel establish tent cities in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, to accommodate the population from Gaza.
The report goes on to say that, under the plan, Gaza’s 2.3 million residents would be told that “there is no longer any hope of returning to the territories that Israel will occupy,” and that “Allah made sure that you lost this land because of the leadership of Hamas.”
A spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in #Gaza pleaded with #Egypt to open the #Rafah crossing while Israeli massacres continue.

The document reportedly highlights the importance of US support for the plan’s success. Washington could put “pressure on Egypt, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the Emirates to contribute to the initiative either in resources or in accepting displaced persons,” the paper notes, adding that Spain, Greece, and Canada should also be persuaded to accept refugees from the Strip.
Sicha Mekomit has stated that the plan “amounts to the ethnic cleansing of Gaza.”
The Israeli Ministry of Intelligence, however, intended to portray the policy to the rest of the world as a way to cause “fewer casualties among the civilian population” during Israel’s military aggression on Gaza.
Netanyahu’s office told the Israeli newspaper Haaretz that the ministry’s document represents “initial thoughts” on the future of Gaza, and will not be considered until the war is over.
Israel has, thus far, killed over 8,500 Palestinians in Gaza, including 3,527 children, and wounded more than 21,000. Palestinian Ministry of Health reports and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

Despite a massive Israeli military buildup around the Gaza borders and sporadic infiltrations on the outskirts of the besieged Strip, Palestinian Resistance continues to repel Israeli attacks.
To justify its military failure, the Israeli army continues to pound civilian homes throughout the Gaza Strip with new massacres reported everywhere in the besieged enclave.
Gaza has been under a tight Israeli military siege since 2007, following a democratic election in occupied Palestine, the results of which were rejected by Tel Aviv and Washington.
