The Rachel Corrie Foundation (RCF) will welcome Norwegian physician, humanitarian, and activist Dr. Mads Gilbert to the Pacific Northwest for a fundraising lecture benefiting RCF Gaza Projects on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at the Ballard Homestead in Seattle, Washington.

Guests can expect an inspiring, riveting, and heart wrenching evening as Dr. Gilbert testifies to the extreme brutality inflicted upon Palestinians living under Israeli occupation, shares his own experiences of providing immediate and life-saving emergency medical care and training in the besieged Gaza Strip, and shines a light on what Americans can do to support Palestinians and end the occupation.

As the author of the books Eyes in Gaza and Night in Gaza, Gilbert is an essential voice in understanding the humanitarian devastation inflicted upon Palestinians under occupation.
This event is a fundraiser for RCF Gaza Projects, which include the Rachel Corrie Gaza Sport Initiative (Ramadan Football Tournaments and the Tournament for Athletes with Disabilities), the Palestinian Cultural Palace (a cultural arts and performance initiative), the Samira Project (a remedial and psychosocial program for Gaza youth), and more.
