A new Israeli poll has indicated that the popularity of Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman is plummeting.
According to the poll, conducted by Tel Aviv University’s Department of Statistics, the two Israeli politicians have been rapidly losing public support during the past year.
Most respondents also questioned Netanyahu’s suitability for the post of prime minister.
His announcement of a partial freeze on settlement expansions in the occupied West Bank and his weak stance regarding his domineering wife and her influence on his office were cited as the main reasons behind the drop.
