The Palestinian Prisoners Club revealed that the General Secretary of the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine, MP Ahmad Sadaat, was transferred to Rimon isolation section following his decision to go on a hunger strike in solidarity with Palestinian hunger striker, Bilal Kayed.
Kayed has been on hunger strike for 47 days. He began his strike after the Israeli Prison Service placed him under an administrative detention order on the day he was due to be released, after serving 14.5 years in Israeli jails.

The Prisoners Club noted that dozens of Palestinian prisoners are on hunger strike in solidarity with Kayed.
Mohammed and Mahmoud Albalboul, Ayad Alharimi and Malek Al-Qadi are on hunger strike to protest their administrative detention without charge or trial.
