The Palestinian Central Elections Commission has condemned the Israeli practices against its members which aim to suppress freedom and influence results of the impending elections.
The commission’s remarks came after Israeli security forces arrested Hussein Abu-Kwik, the Hamas representative in the commission.
It said his arrest was “a blatant interference in the elections and serious violation of democratic freedoms and practices.”
