Mohammad Awad, a local activist, told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces attacked hundreds of Palestinians who were protesting against the Israeli genocide campaign in the Gaza Strip.
Awad said the Israeli occupation forces opened fire with live ammunition on the protesters, shooting Meqbel in the chest.
The child was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he died of his critical wounds a few minutes later.
