Palestinian Boy Killed by Israeli Army in Jenin

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its crews transported three cases with live gunshot wounds to hospital.

A Palestinian teenager was fatally shot, and two others were injured by live fire during an Israeli military incursion tonight into the town of Yabad, southwest of Jenin, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The ministry said that 16-year-old Omar Mahmoud Abu Baker was fatally shot in the chest by Israeli forces’ live fire in Yabad.

The official news agency WAFA said that confrontations broke out following a military incursion into the town of Yabad, during which Israeli soldiers attacked residents with live fire, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades, shooting and killing the 16-year-old boy.

The number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank since the beginning of this year has reached 473, including 265 people who were killed since the start of the all-out Israeli attacks on West Bank areas since October 7th.
