Mahmoud Al-Habbash, the Palestinian Authority (PA) Supreme Religious Judge, warned of an Israeli plan to justify the partitioning of Al-Aqsa Mosque, to make way for Jewish worshipers,

Ramadan, the Muslim holy month has seen ongoing aggression from IDF forces who have repeatedly attacked worshipers.

MEMO reported Al-Habbash saying that these attacks were with “dangerous intention” and the Israeli occupation plans to “create a new de facto partitioning including the daily entrance of settlers to the mosque.”

He said, “The Israeli occupation state is seeking to escalate the situation more and more as well as to shed Palestinian blood,” stressing that it is immaterial to Israel if clashes cause deaths or injuries.

Al-Habbash called for Arab and Muslim nations to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque and to stop Israel’s violations against it, MEMO reported.
