The Hind Rajab Foundation worked on the arrest warrant while Alyan was attending a secret meeting in Italy. Alyan, currently the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) and responsible for Gaza’s humanitarian aid, was a former commander of the Golani Brigade.

ISRAELI MEDIA: At least five soldiers were killed, and eleven others wounded in Beit Hanoun. Resistance forces targeted a building where a group of “Nahal” Brigade soldiers had fortified themselves with a guided missile. The building collapsed on the soldiers, trapping their bodies under the rubble. A civilian rescue team was called in as it took several hours to reach the dead and injured soldiers beneath the ruins.

ISRAEL HAYOM: Israeli authorities have instructed all government ministries to prepare for the reception of prisoners. At least three hospitals have been ordered to get ready for incoming prisoners.
