A medical surce informed Al-Jazeera that approximately 5,000 Palestinians have been killed or are missing as a result of the Israeli military operation in the northern Gaza Strip, which has now entered its 100th day.
Meanwhile, an Israeli source involved in the negotiations revealed a desire to finalize an agreement before January 20.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 46,565 Palestinians have been killed, and 109,660 wounded in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza starting on October 7, 2023.
