Crews on a flight of the Australian national airline have overpowered a young Israeli man, who had threatened to kill himself and his fellow travelers.
While on the flight from Melbourne to Hong Kong, the failed attacker became "extremely aggressive" and started to menace the passengers, Australian daily The Sydney Morning Herald reported on Thursday.
"I’m going to kill myself, you are all going to die, it will be God’s will, what will be will be, I’m going to open the door," he had said.
The man was reportedly reciting prayers in Hebrew before he issued the threat.
"The crew were fantastic, the boys held him down and subdued him and one of the female crew cuffed him," said one Australian passenger, identified as Helen.
He was submitted to Hong Kong authorities upon arrival.
