Israeli forces shot and injured at least 23 Palestinians with live bullets during clashes in the occupied West Bank on Monday, with two more shot and injured by Israeli settlers, Palestinian sources reported.
Israeli forces shot and injured a young man during clashes in Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank before taking him into custody, locals said.
Hebrew media reported that the injured young man was evacuated by an Israeli ambulance in serious condition.
In Nablus, Israeli forces shot and injured at least 18 Palestinians during clashes in the northern occupied West Bank district, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.
Israeli forces shot and injured at least four Palestinians in Ramallah clashes, according to the ministry, with at least three more injured with rubber-coated steel bullets.
In addition, the ministry said Israeli settlers shot and injured two Palestinians with live fire in the northern Tulkarem district and southern Hebron district of the occupied West Bank.
The Tulkarem victim was shot in the stomach and is in serious condition, the ministry said.
At least four Israelis were injured in three separate alleged stabbing attacks in occupied East Jerusalem on Monday, with one of those injured identified as a 13-year-old Israeli who was critically wounded.
Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinians in separate incidents following two of the alleged stabbing attacks.
One of the Palestinians who was killed following the most recent alleged attack was identified by his family as 12-year-oldAhmadManasra, whose brother Muhammad Manasra, 14, was shot and seriously wounded at the scene.
Conflicting ages have been reported in regards to the two alleged suspects, with Israeli police telling Ma’an the two were 13 and 17, respectively.
On Sunday, Israeli forces shot and injured at least 53 Palestinians, including a Ma’an cameraman, during clashes in Nablus, medics said.
Clashes have injured more than 1,300 Palestinians since the beginning of the month, with 152 shot with live and rubber-coated steel bullets on Sunday alone, according to the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Health and the Palestinian Red Crescent.
