A group of Israeli fishermen and sailors has announced a plan to block the Women’s Boats for Gaza, an international campaign which has sent two boats to break the illegal Israeli siege imposed on Gaza.
Dozens of Israeli fishermen and sailors announced their readiness to join ten Israeli boats which will attempt to block the initiative, which are due to arrive in Gaza’s regional waters in the early October.
Avi Farhan, organizer of the campaign to block the boats, said, “We attempt to limit the provocations made by foreign activists who challenge Israel by attempting to break the siege imposed on Gaza.”

Farhan himself is a former settler in Gaza who left in 2005 when Israel evacuated its settlers from the coastal enclave.
Farhan and his group plan to block the two Women’s Boats for Gaza and to raise Israeli flags on them. Many observers believe that an Israeli force will take over the boats in Gaza’s regional waters, before these Israeli sailors try to do so.

Ask a few Russian destroyers to accompany the boats.
