The Israeli Ministers of Interior and Internal Security have decided to form a team to stop the flow of Internationals who support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement (BDS) into the West Bank, and to expel those who have already entered the region.

The team aims to gather information about these internationals and to prepare legal profiles against them in order to deport them later.

Haaretz quoted an Israeli official who attended a meeting organized by the Israeli Minister of Interior, Aryeh Deri, and the Minister of Internal Security, Gilad Aran, as saying, “Many Internationals are involved in the BDS movement and they aim to isolate Israel.”

He added, “They gather information about the Israeli army in the West Bank and hinder its activities.”

The official stated that Israel plans to set up certain standards to expel these activists without stirring a media uproar.
