Several statements were issued by the Lebanese Resistance Group Hezbollah on Sunday.
The statements indicated that the Islamic Resistance of Lebanon is ready to escalate its fight against Israel on more than one front.
News reports said earlier that rockets fired from South Lebanon have reached as far as the city of Safad, tens of kilometers south of the Lebanese border.
Israeli media, including the Times of Israel and the Jerusalem Post, reported that missiles from Lebanon were also fired towards Kiryat Shmona and Nahariya, inside Israel.

While the Lebanese Resistance has announced that it targeted various Israeli military bases and installations in occupied South Lebanese areas as well as northern Israel, the Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagavi claimed that Israel had targeted ‘three cells’ that tried to attack Israel from Lebanon.
One of Hezbollah’s statements included a video of its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, passing by a Hezbollah flag. The video was accompanied by a verse from the Quran that read:
“When the first of the two promises came, We sent against you servants of Ours who were of great military might, and they probed (even) into the homes, and it was a promise (that was) fulfilled.” – Quran, Surah Al-Isra, 17:5.
Some political and military analysts suggest that the nature of the video and this particular verse indicate an expected military escalation at the border by Hezbollah and other Palestinian and Lebanese Resistance groups.

‘Misgav Am’
“At ten o’clock in the morning on Sunday, October 29, 2023, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted the ‘Misgav Am’ site with appropriate weapons and destroyed part of its technological and technical equipment.”
Al-Samaqa
“At 12:45 pm this Sunday, October 29, 2023, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted the Al-Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with appropriate weapons, causing direct casualties.”
Al-Malikiyah
“At 15:45 on Sunday, the 29th of October 2023, after meticulous monitoring and observation, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance detected an (Israeli) infantry force in the Al-Malikiyah area and its surroundings. “At four o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, October 29, 2023, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted the ‘Ramia’ site with appropriate weapons, and part of its equipment was destroyed.”
