Palestinian protesters in Gaza burned posters carrying images of rightwing Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and his new National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
The protest followed a sit-in in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons, which was held in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza City on Thursday.
“The prisoners have the right to live in dignity and humanity,” some of the banners read.
Protesters also held pictures of Palestinian activist Maher Yunis, who was released from Israeli prisons on Thursday after 40 years behind bars.
Younis is the Karim Yunis, who was also released by Israel after 40 years of incarceration.
