While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he is open to ‘tactical pauses’ in the Israeli war on Gaza, massacres were reported in various parts of the Strip. 

Meanwhile, Al-Qassam Brigades declared that it had destroyed more Israeli tanks in fierce fighting on the outskirts of several Gaza City neighborhoods. 

Concurrently, the Gaza Ministry of Health declared that the death toll resulting from the Israeli attacks on the Strip has risen to 10,328 with nearly 26,000 wounded, and thousands are still buried under the rubble.

WHITE HOUSE: US President Joe Biden said that he requested, during a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, a temporary cessation of fighting in Gaza.

YEDIOTH AHRONOTH: The US Administration is intensifying its pressure on Israel to reduce the severity of the raids.

WSJ: Israel rented two missile defense systems

CNN (CITING NETANYAHU’S CHIEF ADVISOR): “There must be an Israeli security presence in Gaza, and this does not mean occupying it and controlling its population.”

POLITICO (CITING US OFFICIALS) The Biden administration is confident that Israel is moving slightly and gradually to accept humanitarian truces.

– Eliminating Yahya Sinwar is one of our goals in this war, in addition to the rest of Hamas’ leaders.

– We are determined to achieve our goal and accomplish the mission, which is to dismantle Hamas and its capabilities and reach its leaders and fighters.

– We will fight to achieve our goal of eliminating Hamas, returning the kidnapped people, and changing the situation in Gaza.

– We are making progress from the north and south to the heart of Gaza City, and we are fighting inside residential areas.

– A ceasefire for humanitarian reasons must be for the sake of the kidnapped first.

– We are fighting vigorously in Gaza, our forces are also present at the Lebanon border. 

– The pressures on us will increase and will require difficult leadership decisions, but we will not stop fighting the war that has been imposed on us.

– We have no intention of going to war with Hezbollah, and if Nasrallah makes a mistake, he will destroy Lebanon.

US DEPUTY REPRESENTATIVE TO UN: US President Biden supports a temporary humanitarian truce for the release of hostages and the delivery of aid.

PPC: The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced that the occupation forces have arrested 2,200 Palestinians in the West Bank since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip a month ago.

GAZA GOVERNMENT MEDIA OFFICE: The number of journalist martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza had risen to 48.

NYT (QUOTING US PRESIDENT BIDEN): Biden was surprised by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s unwillingness to back down from attacking urban areas during the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip.
