The death toll of Palestinian civilians targeted in the ongoing Israel war on Gaza has exceeded 7,000, including nearly 3,000 children (Precise numbers are updated around the clock below.) 

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that the timing for the ground operation in Gaza has been determined, without announcing the date. 

A ‘large number’ of Israeli tanks penetrated the Gaza Strip in an open area east of Al Bureij. They were met with fierce resistance. 

Al-Qassam Brigades said that it engaged with the invading unit and that it had hit an Israeli helicopter with a Sam-7 missile.

The Israeli bombardment of Gaza continued, along with mass arrests and raids throughout the West Bank.

Meanwhile, the Resistance continues.

CAIRO NEWS: 5 people were injured when a rocket landed in the Egyptian city of Taba. The source of the launch of the missile has not been determined.

Also in Gaza, 4 Palestinians were killed, and others were wounded in Israeli shelling that targeted a house in Khan Younis refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip.

In the occupied Palestinian West Bank, the Israeli army has stormed the city and refugee camp of Jenin.

Israeli forces also stormed the Aqbat Jabr refugee camp near Jericho, and the Dheisheh refugee camp near Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

AJA: Al-Jazeera confirmed direct hits in Rishon Lezion, Be’er Yaakov, Rehovot and Shohm on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, after the Qassam Brigades fired a volley of rockets towards the greater Tel Aviv area.

PENTAGON: The Israeli military is doing its job in Gaza professionally, and we communicate with Israel regularly about compliance with the law of war and international law. The Pentagon confirmed that it plans to provide 2 US air defense systems to Israel to enhance its capabilities and protect citizens.

ISRAELI MEDIA: Israeli media said unprecedented rocket barrages were taking place in Tel Aviv and central Israel.

PENTAGON: We deployed 900 troops to the Middle East, including specialists in air defense systems. U.S. forces had been attacked by Iran-aligned groups at least 12 times in Iraq and four times in Syria last week.

ISRAELI FOREIGN MINISTRY: “We consider the arrival of Hamas leaders to Moscow an obscene step that provides support for terrorism, and we call on the Russian government to deport them immediately.”

AJA: Israeli occupation artillery launched heavy bombardment south of Gaza City.

KAN CHANNEL (QUOTING ISRAELI OFFICIAL): “Hamas is demanding the transfer of fuel to Gaza, the release of Palestinian prisoners, and a ceasefire. Things are approaching the moment of maturity, and we will soon know where they are headed.”

ISRAELI BROADCASTING CORPORATION: Israel informed the mediators that it is prepared to pay a price in exchange for the return of the prisoners.

PALESTINIAN HEALTH MINISTRY: The number of Palestinians killed and wounded in the Israeli war on Gaza rose to 7,028, including 2,913 children and 1,709 women, and 18,500 wounded.

UNRWA: The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees ( UNRWA ), Philippe Lazzarini, said that “history will judge us all” unless there is a ceasefire in Gaza .

PALESTINIAN RED CRESCENT: The Palestinian Red Crescent said that it received 12 aid trucks today, Thursday, from the Egyptian Red Crescent at the Rafah crossing, bringing to 74 the number of aid trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip since October 7, while fuel has not been allowed to enter until now.

AJA: At least 7 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured following an Israeli bombing of a house in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

AJA: Sirens sounded in cities and towns around the Gaza Strip, including in the Kissufim area.

AJA: Confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces in the Satah Marhaba neighborhood, in the city of Al-Bireh in the West Bank.

ISRAELI ARMY: ground forces carried out an operation in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday and attacked several targets belonging to the Hamas movement and then withdrew, in what Army Radio described as the largest incursion during the current war.
