By Palestine Chronicle Staff

In the early hours of Sunday, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters targeted Israeli soldiers who were sheltered inside a building west of the Jabaliya refugee camp, in northern Gaza. Northern Gaza has supposedly fallen to advancing Israeli troops many days ago. Yet, the most intense battles on the 65th of the war are still concentrated in that region.

In the south, as everywhere else in the besieged Strip, Israel carried on with its deadly airstrikes in residential homes, killing and wounding hundreds.

The number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli war on Gaza since October 7 has reached 17,700, including over 7,870 children and more than 6,121 women, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza. 48,780 were wounded.
