The latest tragedy adds to the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, as civilian infrastructure, including educational institutions, continues to be a primary target in the Israeli military’s aerial and ground offensive.
Israel has, thus far, killed over 11,078 – including 4,506 children and 3,027 women – and wounded 27,409. Palestinian Ministry of Health reports and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.
