Israeli Occupation Forces Detain 9 Palestinian Children Aged 8 to 13 in Hebron

Israeli occupation forces detained nine Palestinian children aged between 8 and 13 in Hebron while they were on their way home from school.

Israeli occupation forces detained nine Palestinian children aged between eight and 13 in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron (Al-Khalil), the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

According to WAFA, the children were detained on their way home from school and were taken to an unknown location.

The Israeli army has intensified its presence in Hebron as illegal Jewish settlers celebrate the Jewish Sukkot holiday.

During Jewish holidays, settlers escalate their provocations toward the Palestinian population, attacking them in the streets and in their homes.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian girl suffered bruises and wounds and was admitted to hospital after she was beaten by Israeli occupation forces in the center of Hebron.

The Israeli occupation troops also fired tear gas canisters at people in the center of the city, causing dozens to suffocate.
