To all our readers, supporters, and friends,

We have now reached the completion of our Palestine Chronicle Appeal, and want to extend our very warm and heartfelt thanks for your all responses and generous contributions over the last month.  We are very happy to say we have raised 12,776 USD, 85% of our target, which should enable us continue providing our services until at least the end of this year.

The speed at which we received letters, emails and subscriptions from all over the world was very moving for all of us here.   It has served to strengthen our resolve to continue working our hardest in providing high quality, progressive coverage of Palestine-related issues and events of relevance to readers around the world. We have always been convinced that there is an alternative to mainstream and politically aligned reportage, and your support goes to show that a different kind of media is not only possible, but actively desired by many.

At a time when disunity and in-fighting have become the dominant image of the Palestinian struggle through the mainstream lens, the success of this appeal highlights for us the power of solidarity, showing how individuals have the ability to shape a common future through  the unique contributions they are able to make towards what they believe in.

We owe our continued presence on the web to your support, and once again want to express our very deepest gratitude and commitment to the shared vision.
