It rises
In all its brutality
Inhumanity
Bestiality
A concrete monster
Snaking through the land of Palestine
Speaking gutturally of one people’s
Hatred of another
The exploitation of one by another
The theft of land and lives
And dreams
And peace
A monument of all that is ugly
In human nature
A badge of shame
And dishonor
A stain on the history of humanity
Even the Gods blush
And are shamed
At what their hands have wrought
