The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has warned Israel against the consequences of the death of Mohammed Albahloul, who is on hunger strike, along with his brother Mahmoud, to protest their administrative detention imposed upon them.

The PFLP said in a statement that Albahloul’s health has deteriorated drastically. He is suffering from severe headache, stomach aches, weak sight and joint pain.

Referring to the prisoners on hunger strike, the PFLP asserted that Israel plans “to slowly kill them.”

The PFLP considered the Israeli plan to force-feed Albahloul a crime that contradicts international laws and threatens the life of the hunger striker. It noted that such actions are considered a war crime.

The organization called for more solidarity with Palestinian hunger strikers in Israeli jails, particularly with the Albahloul brothers, in order for them to be released from Israeli jails.
