The Hamas movement announced it would contribute to the success of the elections and will “facilitate the process that will serve the interests of the Palestinian people and their cause, on the basis of the provision of guarantees, fairness and equal opportunities, and vowed to respect the results.”
Hamas explained in a statement yesterday that the move is based on its desire to arrange the Palestinian house, consolidate the principle of partnership, and assume national responsibility in this critical time.
