The document named Minister of Public Security, Gilad Erdan, as one of the public figures suspected of involvement in criminal offenses during the time of his position as Minister of Environment and Minister of Telecommunications in previous governments. He has not been subject to investigation or held accountable for these offenses.
Israel Police Commissioner, Roni Alsheich, and Knesset Speaker, Yuli Edelstein, met on Wednesday to discuss the recently leaked secret police document.
The head of the Police Investigations and Intelligence Department, Meni Yitzhaki, was also present in the meeting, according to reports, MEMO said.
