The Israeli Army Radio said on Saturday that the Israeli military is preparing for a significant and large-scale attack on Iran, not a minor operation.

A military source was cited as saying that “the army is spending most of its time preparing for this strike,” emphasizing that Israel’s response to Tehran will be forceful.

The source also mentioned that Israel anticipates substantial cooperation from regional partner countries in this offensive.

Meanwhile, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that discussions were held earlier in the day between Israeli military leaders and representatives from “friendly countries” to coordinate a joint response to Iran.

While American aircraft are not expected to take part in the assault, coordination between Israel and the United States will continue, according to the paper.

In a related development, former US President Donald Trump, a candidate in the upcoming elections, remarked that Israel should take action against Iranian nuclear sites.

Haaretz also reported that Israel is not only preparing for military action against Iran but also bracing for potential further missile strikes from Tehran in response to Israel’s expected retaliation.

The Israeli military’s preparations follow a recent major missile strike by Iran in response to the assassinations of senior Hezbollah and Hamas leaders.

Israeli media reported that the military is planning a “major and severe retaliation” against Iran after the missile attacks targeted Israeli military and government sites earlier this week.

True Promise 2

Hundreds of Iranian missiles rained all over Israel on Tuesday, though reportedly aiming for military and strategic targets.

The Iranian missiles, many of which have reached their intended targets, were concentrated in two major areas: the Tel Aviv-Yaffa region and the Naqab, where many Israeli military bases are situated.

According to the Israeli army, sirens were activated in nearly 1,500 areas throughout the country.

Following the attack, Major General Mohammed Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, advised Israel of restraint.

“If the Zionist regime is not restrained and acts against Iran, we will target all its infrastructure,” he warned.

Bagheri revealed that Iran has endured “a difficult period of restraint” following the assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas, in Tehran Ismail Haniyeh after repeated requests from the United States and Europe to allow for a ceasefire in Gaza.

“However, after the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and General Nilforoushan, the situation became unbearable,” he stated.
