Members of a UN committee, probing the Israeli attack against a Gaza-bound aid convoy, have visited the injured people of the incident in Turkey.
The UN panel met with the wounded activists at Ataturk hospital on Monday, the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet reported.
On May 31, the Israeli commandos attacked the Gaza Freedom Flotilla in international waters, killing nine Turkish activists.
Dozens of the passengers also suffered injuries during the assault and many reportedly had their belongings stolen.
Former New Zealand Prime Minister Geoffrey Palmer is chairman of the UN panel, with outgoing Colombian President Alvaro Uribe acting as vice chairman.
The delegation was scheduled to meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu late Monday.
The UN panel will confer with the domestic Turkish investigation commission, hear testimony from witnesses of the attack, including those who were injured, and meet leaders from Turkish state ministries and institutions.
The committee is expected to submit an initial progress report in mid-September.
