On the 110th day of the Israeli genocide in Gaza, little has changed as far as Israel’s coveted victory. 

To the contrary, judging by the Maghazi operation and the ongoing Khan Yunis battles, the Palestinian Resistance seems to be getting stronger by the day. 

Meanwhile, Arab Resistance, namely Hezbollah in Lebanon and Ansarallah al Houthis in Yemen, continue to strike at Israeli positions, or Israel-bound ships, completely unintimidated by Israeli and Western threats. 

The humanitarian situation, however, is worsening, as nearly 800,000 Palestinians are reportedly experiencing extreme hunger.

According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 25,700 Palestinians have been killed, and 63,730 wounded in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza starting on October 7. Palestinian and international estimates say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

AL-JAZEERA: A Palestinian was killed and others were wounded as a result of Israeli shelling targeting a residential apartment in the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

WASHINGTON:

Senator Brian Schatz revealed that 49 senators have submitted an amendment to the military aid package to Israel that emphasizes the two-state solution.

US National Security Council has expressed “grave concern” over reports of strikes on a facility belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the southern Gaza Strip.

US Senator Bernie Sanders said we are all complicit in what is happening in Gaza, and a large part of the tragedy is caused by the use of American weapons.

MEDIA SOURCES: Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich responded to the statement of Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid al-Ansari, saying that “Qatar is the main sponsor of Hamas,” adding that the West’s position toward Qatar is hypocritical and based on interests.

US STATE DEPARTMENT: The US State Department condemned the attack that targeted an UNRWA school in Khan Yunis, saying it was disturbing.

RED CROSS: 20 percent of Gaza’s territory houses 1.5 million people.

UN: The United Nations sent a team to assess the situation in the UNRWA center in Gaza, which was targeted today, and which houses tens of thousands of displaced people.

ICJ: On Friday 26 January 2024, the International Court of Justice will deliver its Order on the Request for the indication of provisional measures submitted by South Africa in the case concerning Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in the Gaza Strip (South Africa v. Israel).

A public sitting will take place at 1 p.m. at the Peace Palace in The Hague, during which Judge Joan E. Donoghue, the President of the Court, will read the Court’s Order.

LAVROV: “We hope that the International Court of Justice will adhere to the standards of international law regarding the issue of genocide in Gaza.”

LAPID: The return of the kidnapped people will be achieved through a bad and terrible deal, but we are forced to do it.

KIRBY: The American envoy is involved with Qatar in negotiations for Israeli prisoners.

AL-JAZEERA: A march was organized in Jerusalem demanding the conclusion of an exchange deal and the return of prisoners detained in Gaza.

MEDICAL SOURCES (to Al-Jazeera): 30 dead and 50 wounded have arrived since Wednesday morning to the Nasser Medical Complex in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

IRANIAN PRESIDENT: Palestine won after more than 100 days of war. Raisi added – in a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan – that political and economic relations with the Zionist entity must be severed, and a deterrent stance must be taken against it.

ERDOGAN: The inhumane Israeli attacks on Gaza must end.

AL-JAZEERA: Palestinian resistance fired a new missile salvo from the Gaza Strip towards Israel.

HEZBOLLAH: We targeted the Al-Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with guided missiles.

AL-QASSAM BRIGADES: We targeted an Israeli force of more than 15 soldiers, barricaded inside a house west of the city of Khan Yunis, with an anti-fortified TPG shell, killing and wounding all of them.

UN OFFICIAL: Medical teams in Gaza are suffering due to the scarcity of medical supplies.

AL-JAZEERA: The Israeli artillery bombardment of a UNRWA school, which shelters thousands of displaced people west of Khan Yunis, left at least 14 dead and dozens of injuries.

ISRAEL TODAY: Far-right Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, informed the families of Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip that he could not promise to return them all alive.

YEMENI MILITARY SOURCE: The Ansarallah attacked a cargo ship near Bab Al-Mandab.

PALESTINIAN RED CRESCENT: Israeli forces besiege our crews at Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis.

UNRWA: There was a large number of casualties after a fire broke out in a center housing 10,000 displaced people in Khan Yunis after it was exposed to an Israeli bombing.

AL-JAZEERA: Several Palestinians were killed and wounded in an Israeli artillery shelling on a UNRWA educational building west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

BRITISH PM SUNAK: We want an immediate and sustainable ceasefire in Gaza, to get more aid in and get out Israeli detainees.

GAZA HEALTH MINISTRY: The Israeli occupation isolated the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. Nasser Medical Complex is in urgent need of medical supplies, food and fuel.

HEZBOLLAH: We targeted the Israeli site of Bayad Blida with appropriate weapons and achieved a direct hit there.

AL-JAZEERA: Six Palestinians were killed and 11 were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted various areas in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

EGYPTIAN PRESIDENT: The Rafah crossing is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but Israeli measures delay the entry of aid.

PALESTINIAN MEDIA: Rescue teams recovered – today, Wednesday – the bodies of 4 Palestinians who were killed in a previous Israeli bombing of the Al-Maghazi and Al-Bureij camps in the central Gaza Strip.

AL-JAZEERA: Two missiles were fired from southern Lebanon on Wednesday towards an Israeli military site in the occupied Shebaa Farms.

UN: 625,000 students in Gaza are deprived of education.

AL-JAZEERA: The Israeli army continues to besiege Al-Khair Hospital and Al-Aqsa University, which houses displaced persons west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

PALESTINIAN RED CRESCENT IN GAZA: We fear that what happened in the north will happen in Khan Yunis, in terms of imposing a tight siege and preventing the entry of aid.

IRAQI GOVERNMENT: We will take all legal measures against the American bombing, including submitting a complaint to the UN Security Council.

AL-JAZEERA: The Israeli army bombed with artillery on Wednesday in the vicinity of the Grand Mosque in the center of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

UN OFFICIAL: Israel’s destruction of homes near the border fence in the Gaza Strip may constitute a war crime. The UN official added that Israel, being an occupying power, is obligated not to participate in the indiscriminate destruction of property.

CHINESE FM: The highest priority is to stop the war in Gaza as quickly as possible and prevent the conflict from getting out of control. We call for an end to the actions against civilian ships in the Red Sea, to avoid inflaming tensions, and to protect the security of navigation. We believe that the Security Council has never authorized any country to use force against Yemen.

PALESTINIAN RED CRESCENT: Three displaced people were killed and two others were injured, after the Israeli occupation forces targeted the northern gate of the association’s headquarters in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
