Dear Friends, Readers and Supporters of the Palestine Chronicle,
As we launch the first bi-annual fundraiser for 2010, the drums of war are again threatening the civilian population of Gaza. Now, more than ever, there is an urgent need for a voice that speaks the truth from Palestine. We believe that peace and justice in Palestine is key to peace and stability in the entire Middle East - even the world - thus the nature of our content. We take great pride in the fact that the Chronicle has never accepted (nor sought) funding from any governmental, political or factional group or organization. We are adamant regarding our independence. But this also presents the challenge of supporting ourselves, and that’s why we come to you, twice a year, to ask for your financial support to back us for another six months. Our goal is to raise $12,000 in the month of April.
So, why should you give to the Palestine Chronicle?
We are reliable – This year, we are celebrating our 11th anniversary as an online publication.
We are resourceful – The Palestine Chronicle operates on less than $24,000 per year, a fraction of our competitors’ annual budgets. With committed volunteers and under-paid staff, we will continue to give you your money’s worth!
We are famous! – In the past two years, the Palestine Chronicle has been viewed by nearly seven million unique visitors!
We are not afraid – Plain and simple, The Palestine Chronicle will tell you the truth about Palestine, Israel, and how you have a stake in seeing peace and justice in the Middle East.
Please give what you can today and thank you for your support throughout the years.
We urge you to make a contribution using Credit Card or PayPal, or scroll down to view our mailing address.
Thank you for your support - The Palestine Chronicle Team
A Message from John Pilger:
"In the midst of an institutional media bias against telling the searing truth about Palestine, the Palestine Chronicle is a beacon. History, witness, analysis and ways forward are here, written with authority and humanity. Long may it publish." -- John Pilger, a world-renowned journalist, author and documentary filmmaker.

A Message from Noam Chomsky:
"The Palestine Chronicle has been an invaluable source of information and analysis about Palestine and related issues, drawing from a wide range of sources, including many that are otherwise inaccessible to the concerned public. An independent voice, it has been trustworthy and reliable. It is now entering its 11th year, and continues to be funded completely by readers. I hope that you will contribute to helping this unique publication to flourish." -- Noam Chomsky, professor emeritus of linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is an honorary editorial board member of the Palestine Chronicle.

A Message from Franklin Lamb:
"For the past decade, the Palestine Chronicle has consistently delivered to those of us who have come to rely on it, vital and objective information about Palestine, Israel, and the Middle East region. There is not, in my view, a better online journal or one that is more deserving of our gratitude and support during this historic watershed period. I urge all its readers to support Palestine Chronicle, as best they can, and keep it on the job doing its excellent work." -- Franklin Lamb, The Sabra Shatila Foundation, Beirut and Washington, DC.
